I've been called out on wearing nail polish while baking. At 11 years old it just didn't occur to me how incredibly gross it was to have nail polish chip into the dough...
This year I wore
LA Colors Solar Gold (I know, it's probably going to take me forever to swatch all the colors I got from this brand!) to a gingerbread party I hosted at my place, and I put it on
after I finished baking all the cookies. I hope that offered some sort of comfort to my friends!
Solar gold is a metallic gold frost that is not overly yellow like some other golds I've tried. It is completely opaque in two coats, but still looks good with one (if you like a sheer soft look). I'm still
so so impressed by this brand's long lasting formula!
The downside with frost formulas is that brush strokes can be very visible, making the application look streaky!
